With the Consumer Electronics Show coming to an end, we're faced with looking back at the things we can take away from the event. Wearable technology was a big focus, but so was automotive technology. Several car companies were present to show off their latest greatest achievements, but BMW actually gave people a chance to see first-hand how the technology was executed.
With the BMW i3 two couples were able to take a spin and test out some neat features. One couple was blindfolded to demonstrate how the car would sense a collision or object and stop on its own. Not only that, but your blind spots are no long blind, because the car can see all angles.
Another couple saw how easy parking could be by pressing a button and letting the i3 maneuver itself into a parking space. We are ready to take advantage of this the next time we have to go downtown. What about you? Would automatic parking be difficult to get used to?
