Exterior Design
Putting the "sport" in Sports Activity Vehicle®, the X1 welcomes an all-new exterior with a wider front and rear stance to improve dynamics and handling along South Bay highways. The wheelbase is also longer, and illumination of San Jose streets is more efficient than ever before with the BMW X1's full LED headlights. BMW enthusiasts from San Jose can select one of six wheel designs, with 20-inch alloy wheels available.
Interior Design

For a performance boost, upgrade to the first-ever X1 M35i unleashing 312 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. A fuel-efficient BMW SUV, the X1 earns 34 miles per gallon on I-880 and the Lawrence Expressway. It's easy for San Jose X1 owners to switch between Sport, Efficient, and Personal drive modes as they alter the SAV's behavior. The BMW X1 includes a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and xDrive.
Technology
The X1's tech-forward interior is headlined by the expansive BMW Curved Display. This combines the 10.7-inch Central Information Display featuring touch-centric control with the 10.25-inch Digital Instrument Cluster. Through the iDrive 8 Operating System - a customizable interface featuring Intelligent Personal Assistant - you can give commands to your BMW X1 on the way to Santana Row, the San Jose Downtown Farmers Market, work, or the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Wireless Apple CarPlay®/Android Auto™ compatibility is a standard tech feature for the BMW X1, granting San Jose drivers seamless smartphone access for the journey to Alum Rock Park or their favorite South Bay spot.
Safety
Live Cockpit Professional includes a Head-Up Display and Video Augmented Reality, providing peace of mind and a futuristic experience.
